Her father came born in New York and her mother was born in The American South, and Lauren is of Irish, English, and Scottish roots. Lauren was born within Northern Virginia, USA. (Fairfax, Arlington, Great Falls, VA). She graduated from Langley High School, McLean, VA. Graduating from Barnard College, with a bachelor's degree in English.
